What is Health & Wellness Coaching?
Health & Wellness Coaching is client driven. The coach understands that the client is the expert in navigating his or her own life.
By utilizing a combination of competencies and techniques, the coach facilitates behavior change by empowering the client to self-discover inner strenghts, resources and strategies that elicit motivation based on internal purpose and values.
The coach assists the client in bridging the gap between knowing what one wants to do and actually doing it!
The path to forming new and lasting behavior change takes commitment and a little bit of time. To form new habits, we must lay the foundation for new neural pathways to be constructed, ensuring they are well-established and well-maintained. The more you frequent these paths, the easier they are to travel resulting in new and stable behavior change.
In our 12 Week Program we will work together to get you on the path to lasting behavior change.
We will begin by assessing your current state of health and wellbeing. This will include your current nutrition, stress levels, sleep, social connections, activity level and your readiness for change.Together we will create a personal vision for your health and wellbeing and craft SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time bound) that will guide you toward realizing your vision.
With this 12 week plan you will have one weekly video conferencing session up to 60 minutes per week for 12 consecutive weeks.
At the end of the 12 week program you are welcome to continue with a variety of customizable options.
